How to Make 3 Ways Flower Pots With Words

Use peel-and-stick letters to create messages on planters and flower pots. Say something witty or endearing to give as a personalized gift.

MATERIALS
flower pots
spray adhesive
vinyl or foam stickers
spray paint
glitter
craft paint

Step 1: You Grow Girl

Using foam or vinyl stickers write your message on your pot. Make sure the stickers are sealed all the way around so you don’t have any paint running underneath the letters. We chose a black flower pot so the saying will stand out more.

In a well ventilated area spray the entire planter with spray paint.

After paint has dried completely remove stickers and discard.

Using foam or vinyl stickers write your message on your planter.

Coat the planter with spray adhesive. While the glue is still wet sprinkle with glitter. Shake off the excess.

After the glue has dried completely remove the stickers and discard.

Using foam or vinyl stickers write a message on your planter.

Place the planter upside down on a disposable surface.

Drip several colors of paint onto the planter one on top of the other so the colors create a drippy effect.

After the paint has dried completely remove the stickers and discard.
